What makes you passionate about working in childcare?
Working in childcare has always been a vision of mine, since I was a child myself! Nothing makes me happier than watching children grow and learn from the teachings we have provided. I am passionate about providing high quality care for each individual child and their family. I have a strong focus on community involvement and I am always researching the best way to teach children.
What is the funniest or most memorable moment you can share from working in childcare?
The most memorable moment I have had working in childcare was my graduation ceremony for my preschool children in 2017. I had been their lead educator for 3 years and I had put all of my energy into their learning journey. It paid off as I stood in front of all the parents, openly crying of course, knowing that I had made a difference in each of their lives and the gratitude of every parent and child was the most rewarding. Now I have many pictures of my on that night crying which is highly amusing for all of my staff.
Why do you believe your centre is an excellent choice for parents seeking the best childcare?
My centre is an full of passionate Educators who go above and beyond to make sure each of the children meet their developmental milestones. My centre focuses on the local community and charities, we love giving back as much as we can! This teaches children the importance of kindness and equality for all, setting them up for success in the future. We provide Sport and Yoga classes for our 2-5’s which foster the children’s coordination, balance and teamwork! We also have a great school readiness program where the children participate in Reading Eggs daily and also have Spanish lessons which is proved to foster cognitive functions in other areas in their development.
